Our Story

Here at PAW PRINTZ we’re passionate about the well-being of all Animals

Paw Printz for Pets

PAW PRINTZ began with our own dogs.

Like every pet parent, we wanted the very best for our companions — wholesome fresh food, natural healthy treats, and chemical-free health care products. When we couldn’t find anything that truly met our standards, we decided to create our own. We started by completing a course in Animal Nutrition, then went on to further our studies in Natural Animal Medicine.

During the development stage, each biscuit was trialled on our own dogs first, then on the dogs of family, friends, and neighbours, until we were completely happy with the results. After all, there’s no point making nutritionally healthy biscuits if the dogs won’t eat them! As for the ingredients, we source organic wherever possible, and all ingredients are human-grade — yes, you could eat them (although there are no added salts, sugars, or artificial flavourings!).

As advocates of the fresh meat diet, we’ve also created a range of nutritional supplements to complement it and help ensure dogs receive all the vitamins and nutrients they need. We proudly use all of our own products on our own pets.

If you’d like more information about what we believe are the very best handcrafted, home-produced, naturally healthy products for your pets, please don’t hesitate to email us, phone us, or catch us at the markets.

All products are made from top-quality, 100% pure and natural ingredients — because we care for our pets, and yours.

We wanted the very best for our companions – now your Pet can benefit from what our own Pets LOVE

Donna Racheal - Author/Creator

Discover a world of imagination and adventure with our exciting collection of Australian Wildlife children's books.

Brimming with colorful photo‑illustrations, these magical stories inspire little explorers to learn, wonder and dream big.

Adventure, learning, and heart—wrapped into every story, created to delight little nature lovers everywhere.

Lovingly bought to life by the author/photographer - they’re perfect for the young or the young at heart.

New Zealand–born and animal-obsessed since day one, I followed my passion all the way to Melbourne in the late ’80s. Since then I’ve dived into photography, wildlife care, natural pet therapy, and more—basically anything that lets me celebrate the creatures I love. I’ve published children’s stories, wildlife guides, chicken-keeping tips, dog-treat recipes, and a handful of photo-essay books. These days you’ll find me on my self-sufficient patch in the upper Yarra Valley, happily surrounded by my furry, feathered, and slightly chaotic menagerie.
